This midcentury table lamp, manufactured by Stilarmatur Tranås in Sweden between the 1960s and 1970s, features three bordeaux red glass spheres with brass feet and details.
Designed by Henrik Blomqvist for Tranås Stilarmatur, this large-sized model was introduced in 1959 when Blomqvist served as the creative director. Quickly becoming a design classic, these lamps were extensively utilized by interior decorators and showcased in numerous domestic and international exhibitions throughout the 1960s.
The lamp stands tall on a heavy polished brass base and is characterized by its high-quality craftsmanship. It remains in excellent original condition, showcasing the enduring appeal of its midcentury design.
