A large milk bowl crafted from ball clay features a rooster motif in red, green, and brown. This piece, originating from the early 19th century, is adorned with engobe—a mixture of pipe clay and water, tinted with manganese for brown, copper oxide for green, or iron oxide for red. The engobe is meticulously applied using a cow horn, which possesses a small opening at the tip's far end.
